Default Purge valve canister Code P0442

I was reading a thread about Code P0442 and the purge valve canister. Does anyone have an a diagram that shows this canister, mine is also clicking and Code P0442 will show up about every 200mi. I then clear it> No degradation in performance and just finished a 1600mi plus road trip averaged 29.3 and i love to merge lol. Thanks for your help as always.

Would be nice to know what MY and motor you are referring to. But you are lucky because the canisters are in the same spot.

I have never heard of one clicking, I do not know to much about them. What I have read on here is that it would be more of a vacuum leak hiss when they crack.

Sorry to be so vague.

I believe the clicking is the solenoid that is near the canister, my car does that from time to time. (3.0), but no codes or issues.

thanks just trying to eliminate the code p0442. changed gas cap, replaced fuel tank gaskets to fuel pump and transfer pump, just trying to do one thing at a time. Read a post that said could be canister so i am trying to get as much info that i can, knowledge is valuable.
