Exclamation S-Type 99' problems, need help urgently

I've got a 99' S type and chagned the gear oil.
Now I started having problems with it , if I leave it for like 4-5 hrs it won't get in R or D only if I keep it at kick-down for like 40-50 seconds and it suddently enters it.

I'm uploading a video now with it and got a tester, I'm uploading the photos and the video with how the car's behaving.

I've got a 5-speed automatic 5r55n
F0-5r55n-00030

I've bought the oil and filter for the original Jaguar S-type 99' gear, wich is not this one and the filter didn't fit, so I couldn't change it and the oil apparently worked.

Any kind of help would be really apreciated!

EDIT: I also receive the Gearbox Fault and Engine Failsafe mode errors from time to time

The error message is likely unrelated. I know there was a TSB for "gearbox fault" on many S-types (I had it--see my previous threads). If it's the TC, it's an expensive fix. Sorry.

here's the video. I have to keep the pedal max down for 40-50 seconds in order to enter D

It currently has a Ford 5R55N Transmision, I bought it with it, not with the original S-Type trasmision

are you saying you bought oil for jag autobox and used it in the Ford autobox?Juts checked and 99-02 Stypes used 5R55N gearbox below shows data from Lubegard chart:

S-Type 03-06 V-6 3.0L ZF 6HP26 N/A N/A Esso Type LT 71141 • SYN DM, D6, MV
S-Type 00-02 V6, V8 3.0, 4.0L 5R55N N/A N/A Esso Type LT 71141 • SYN DM, D6, MV,
my guess is if it was running ok before the oil change then either you have used the wrong ATF oil--Esso Type LT 71141?
Or you have got wrong level as it is critical and quite specific in the way it must be done

If the problem started right after the oil change, are you sure you used the correct oil and correct drain and fill technique?

I understand now. Not 'kick down'. 3000 RPM is the limit of the engine while in park or neutral.

I thought I saw rpm of 4000 and speeds of 0, I would go get professional help immediately.

Guys It worked fine after that episode for a while , now it's as if it's stuck between gears randomly, like when it shifts from 3th to 4th gear it gets stuck, the whole car shakes and after that it goes back normally.

Today on the highway at 160km/h the gear jumped from 5th to 4th and then back into 5th for like 4 seconds. I'm getting a new gearbox for 200 Euro in short time.

Is there anything else worth checking? I've been to a number of "garages" but apparently nobody knew what my problems were so I'm thinking of buying a backup S-type for parts.

There are relevant questions posted that you haven't answered. I'm not sure how much help you can expect without answering them.

My guess would be wrong oil or wrong amount.

Yeah , I used a different oil and the guys who changed it said thta they couldn't get 400ml in it(I bought 6L of oil)

Before the oil change I had problems like getting stuck in P, when entering D or R the car had a shock-moving forward/backward abruptly, the first day after the oil change it was like the car had auto-hold feature, I had to accelerate in order to move.

If that's the Ford transmission that came standard in the S types, then all I've read about them is that they need the Mercon V oil or they won't work. If the shop was only able to put a small amount back into the transmission, my guess is they did not fill it correctly and you're running it now with very little oil in it. The engine has to be running in order to fill the trans back to the correct level.

Was the fluid refill done right?
Do you know how to do it right? The amount that goes in or out is meaningless. You must fill and check the level as posted in the shop manual.

Yes you have the Ford 5 speed and I don't know why the pan did not fit but it's the same pan on a Ford or a Jaguar. Are you sure it was the correct pan?

Sound like the fill level is wrong. Stop driving it until you are sure it's full.

I am not sure what is going on but my first thought is to have the battery tested for proper voltage.

As for the transmission I believe your shifter cable has stretched causing a misalignment of the shifter selector switch and your gear position in the car.
