Snapped Tensioner Bolt
The last time I snapped a bolt on an engine, I called a thread repair guy (mobile service) and he came out, and fixed it in about 30 minutes.
Was not cheap, but worth every penny.
I had a quick look on google, found this guy not far from Long Beach Jim's Tap Extraction give him a call and see what he says?
Trying to extract it yourself with an ezyout or drilling it will possibly just make things worse.

+1 on Cambo351's reply. If, however, you decide on the DIY route, make sure you centerpunch the broken bolt before drilling. It's a critical step that's missed all too often. You don't want the drill bit wandering off of the bolt and damaging your threads.

Wow, a guy in Oz recommends a local repair-man to an S-Type owner in LA.
I love this list

You dreamed of a big star
he played a mean guitar
He loved to drive his Jaguar...
So welcome to the machine
