Hi all,

I was dawdling back from my camp property in NW Pennsylvania on Saturday, driving my lifted Jeep. I came down into Franklin, PA and my jaw dropped. Sitting at the stop sign was a Quartz STR, really clean - just like Chris V's except no chrome wheels.

I gave the driver a thumbs up and of course he looked at me oddly since I was driving the Redneck Express and not my STR.

I remember an STR for sale in this general part of the state last year when I was looking, I wonder if it was that one. Had to be an 05+ by looking at the front bumper.

A little perspective, seeing a Jag, much less an STR, in this part of the State is akin to seeing Sasquatch in Manhattan. Pickups are the vehicle of choice up in that area - lots of snow and dirt roads.

Anyway - was this anyone on here? Nice STR if ya read this!

You know those PA. mountain men...driving lifted Jeeps and strumin banjos from bridges and all....they kinda keep to themselves you know.

Jason - if you are referring to me, you are right I don't make it to the South or East Hills much. If you are referring to Sasquatch, well he tends to blend in pretty well with some of the Yinzers in the Burgh so he might be hard to spot.

I just had a weird thought of that Sasquatch from the Slim Jim commercials driving an STR....wow I need a beer.

 

LOL! If my mom's ticker didn't act up I would've loved to have party'ed with you guys in Pittsburgh.
