Yes, it's the ride height sensor also used to level the Xenon headlights.
You can buy used but better off getting new since they start to fail at this age anyway. SNG Barrat has them for $98 without the bracket.

These may need to be calibrated via SDD if replaced.

Where about's is this sensor? I have just renewed my Xenon lights and I am not sure what procedure (if any) that may be required to get them working again. The battery is flat (and charging) due to being in the panel shop for over a month as well, but I dont think the lights were going into their usual 'level check mode' on start up when I briefly checked.
What is SSD??

Many thanks.

In a nutshell ...sdd ids is the name of jaguar landrover dealer level diagnostic and programming software. ..if you search the internet for JLR sdd, you will find a wealth of information. .if you need only the headlamps reset, maybe there might be a forum member near you or a good indie shop that has the sdd capability...

Thanks scottjh9. I gather then its the dealer software. 'indie' I assume means independent.
Looks like I therefore need someone with the software to get these lights to at least start to auto level again.
Next question how would I get the software?

If you don't want to mess with SDD and/or auto level feature and level sensor. You can manually set the beam level with a screwdriver and leave it as is.
Not sure if you're getting a warning message on the dash though.

For those in the UK (& EU?), I believe that would not pass an MoT (our annual inspection).
