Today when I removed my engine cover, I accidentally broke a very small hose near the throttle body. Appreciate if anyone can help advising what this is and if it is ok to leave it like this. Thanks!
After checking the part assembly diagram, they are the vacuum hoses for secondary intake and fuel pressure regulator. I have taken some of my spare 4mm High pressure hose which I bought for my rear air suspension and replace the brittle ones.
Now problem solved. It was found that those hoses were broken when I purchased my car 8 months ago. After fixing the hoses, the car is more responsive and powerful.
I have taken my engine cover off for the summer and sprayed all the plastic parts with vinyl cleaner. It made the air hose intake pipe flexible again. Hopefully, I can take off plastic parts as need without them crumbling.
