I'm really wanting a Mafioso air intake pipe with fittings and I also heard about the restrictions in the throttle body spacer that came stock on the STR. First, is there anyone who has a Mafioso for sale? second, any truth to the throttle body spacers? if so, is there an aftermarket spacer or can it be machined? something about the baffles caused a restriction of air flow. Min is all stock 88,000 on the OD and Im just looking to liven her up a bit. One more thing before I forget, does anyone know of a place locally in the Houston area that can do an ecu tune so I don't have to send it off for days / weeks?

 

Not sure where you heard of a restrictor in the throttlebody, but there is none.

The intake tube frees up about 10hp in an STR.

I think there's a restriction compared to the higher powered XFR. Of course it has quite a few changes.
