Not so clear side markers
Clear lens v not so clear lens
So, bought some clear side markers (front and back) last summer, to go with the clear side indicator lenses I had already purchased. Over the course of the months since I hadn't realised the change in 'clearness' of the 4 side markers. Hopefully the photo has uploaded and will be clear (excuse the pun) to see the change that has happened to them, compared to the still very clear side indicator lenses.
Ive taken the lenses off, left them on the house radiator for hours, used beach, degreaser, white vinegar all to no avail.
They don't look right now but at £80 for a set of 4 from Adamesh its not a cheap fix to simply replace.
Any advice on how to go from here?
Thanks
Jules
Jandreu or RaceDiagnostic; Could you try to remember where you got this information and let us know, as a lot of people are getting the Clear Lens and this would be good to know for future reference. Or even better, if anyone has had this problem and solved it.....Please let us know what you did!

My search wording decisions obviously need reviewing as I failed to find this One! Thanks for posting again. I've reinstalled mine now but they'll be off again next weekend for a gentle bake in the SMEG .

Yuck. Oven too hot, I guess.
Seriously, at £80 a pop for 10 months or so of use, I'd be asking the vendor what he is going to do about it: they're clearly not 'fit for purpose'.
Did the repeater lenses come from the same source?

I checked at 30 mins too! It never cleared them either. Quite disappointed as have next week off work to go touring in her.
No, got the side indicators from an eBay seller as found a good price. Just ordered another set for £55 from 8ru XKZ on eBay. Hopefully they are of better quality than Adamesh's.

The vendor 8ru or XKZ seems to be same. The lens I got from them was very good. Perhaps a Heat Gun would have eliminated the "TOO LONG IN OVEN". Usually the guns have a Hi and Lo temp. Adhesive used was a Loctite clear insta-stick glue but it had a 2-3 min time to apply and place lens on housing.
