The slider of my 2016 F-type R is sagging from one side. Upon inspection, the glue which was holdiing the fabric dried out. I asked the dealership service center for a fix, and they quoted $4300. They said they can't fix the slider alone, they will replace the glass roof, headliner and the slider.
Did anyone manage to fix this issue, or at least make at least less visible.
I actually looked into this when looking at a car last year - it can certainly be replaced, but you need to remove the headliner, which means removing the side windows, and a few other things. If you have the time and technical competence, it shouldn't be a big deal!
a couple of good photos, if you scroll down to Related Thread or just search:
"Swapping for Panoramic Roof"
I installed the headliner in my 69 e and did use the hypo technique for a few areas that didn't glue. These were maybe 4x4 inch spots. I don't know that would work with the much larger area that the OP has to deal with.
The related thread has some photos of the inside and how the swap was done. I think I will check the glue on my Pano roof panel to get ahead of any loose areas that think they want to let go.

One side window, anyway, so the headliner can be removed from the cabin. I recently dropped my headliner for other work but did not go as far as full removal, so left the windows in place. It was a pain, but would be less so the second time. Not that I'm in any hurry to do it again though. There would need to be a pretty good reason. I did not look to see how hard it would be to replace the shade, but I can't see removal of the roof glass as necessary.
