Default Steering wheel vibration when turning standing still

Recently I noticed that I get a vibration/shaking in the steering wheel when idling at a complete stop when I turn
the steering wheel to maneuver out of a parking spot. I have no
clue...There is no vibration in the steering wheel while driving. Is it a lose power steering belt? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe air in the ps system. First approach to resolve would be to replace ps fluid with new. ( if car has over 50k miles)

Agreed. Aged (and dirty) hydraulic fluid wouldn’t help.
And I wouldn’t stress the PS nor flat spot the tires by turning the wheel when not rolling.

Just checked the power steering fluid. Bright Red.

The vibration is quite intermittent, but being proactive by changing the power steering fluid to avoid replacing a power steering pump would certainly be wise. Thanks again.

Tires get changed recently? Could just be a function of friction vs what it was before. Most cars get a bit of chatter in the wheel on certain surfaces with sticky enough tires.
