nationalparks, the short of the answer is "with enough time and money, you can make anything work with this car". Now, for the realistic answer. For what it will cost you to get all the incidentals, you could probably trade in your current car and get one with it already installed and still be a few hundred to the good. It is not just a simple "unplug one radio and plug in the other". There are a lot of additional modules that you need to get to make the nav work and then you also have a wiring harness to get to link all these pieces together. so, if you have a spare weekend on your hands, you should be able to get it done in that time. But, I would also recommend finding a local wrecking yard that has an X-Type with the Nav system so you have a source to get all the bits and pieces that you will need.

nationalparks, remember me saying that you have a lot of modules that will need to be transferred over, you will also have work with the A/C system too. At a minimum you have a blower motor to add next to the steering wheel and I believe you need to change the actuators on the blend doors to the new system too. Like I said, not hard work, but there will be a lot of stuff that gets transferred. You are going from a mechanical system to a fully electronic system.

nationalparks, that should be fairly easy to do. Just need to swap the seat buttons out at the top/center of the dash and then plug in the seats. From there, you will need to add in the fuses and all should be good.

Be aware that some modules swapped into another vehicle might need configuring to THAT vehicle. Proper Diagnostic Equipment will be required for that.
