Thanks for providing this picture of the inside of the door card. It was really helpful. I had to fix my door handles on both driver and passenger sides today because the push rods had slipped and it was getting hard to them open. I added a 5mm nut on each rod above the clip with some thread lock to make this a permanent fix. I tried out the two tools in the photo, the lever was good for prying the first clip at the bottom to make a gap, but the red plier tool was excellent. Once I had a gap I could use it to feel around under the card, find each clip and pop it without damaging the card. There was a bit of existing damage from the past (before my time) which I repaired with hot glue. I had purchase some spare clips ahead of time, and needed to replace a few that broke when they were removed. But both cards were in good shape with only a few damaged clip seats which was less that I expected.
