Axle speed ring can it be replaced
I think I finally got my brakes fiqured out, on my Jaguar 2002 Xtype 3.0, they sounded like the ABS was kicking in when I would go below 30 mph~ It looks like there is a tooth broke off of my axle speed ring, now the question I have can I just replace the axle speed ring or do I have to replace the whole spindle
When I replaced my front axles, it didn't really look like you could replace just the ring. Even if you can, the problem will be finding one.
Is this on the front or back axles? I hope it's not the right front. That one's the dickens.

If I understood the question, I'd have half a chance of finding if it's listed in the Parts Catalogue for you!
After some digging around on the forum. I think this may help:

If I'm completely on the wrong issue here, I'll keep quiet and not interfere again.

I have used them before on my own X-type. You remove the axle & clean the area where the ring goes & then have the ring spot welded on. The only issue was having to get someone to weld it. It is a great savings.
