Default Bluetooth microphone

Can Anybody tell me if a BLUETOOTH MICROPHONE is a standard fitting in the overhead console
with an X Type 2003. Otherwise I presume one has to be fitted to allow for telephone calls - Where does connect to
in that case ?

Yes I had the unit detached today to confirm that no Microphone was fitted. Will revisit and see if the connector is as you say thereabouts.
Cheers

I had the head unit out and did a thorough search but found no connector for the microphone. So I imagine I will have to put a cable in, if so where will it run from to connect up with mic ?

Good Day Dennis
Very good guide - thank you will be useful when I eventually get around to installing my entire head unit with the navigation & a droid upgrade.
I notice from the diagram that there should be a lead inside overhead console for the mic - there is not one in mine, I have investigated this area quite thoroughly -
no lead, What would be the way round this little headache ?

Red face Illusive Creature found !

Please note all those who so ably assisted me that the Microphone connector in the overhead console has surrendered -
He was found hiding & stuck down with gum in the overhead lining. Now connected to his buddy the microphone.
Just a couple of small details to iron out and the new odroid/Navsat system is going to be installed.
