So I am trying to fix my hand brake and have read some threads and I am still a bit confused. I have removed the rear left wheel and took a picture with the hand brake down. Dose this look normal and is there a way to fix it by sparing a lubricant if it is indeed stuck.

The most important part of any post is to include the Model, Year, Engine and transmission information. Without the info we all have a hard time figuring out what the equipment is. The easiest way is to go to the user control panel and include the info in you signature. The x-type cam with both manual and self adjusting park brakes.
Yours appear to be self adjusting type. If you go to the bar at the top of the thread and click on search and go to advance search and the type in Park brake and click on the x-type to limit the search you willl find a great deal of info on the park brake. Rossy, looking at the pic, it would appear that your e-brake lever is stuck. If you look at https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...fix-1-a-73065/, hat will have the things you need to rebuild the caliper. Otherwise, you will end up replacing the caliper. You can try pulling off the lever and then lubing the joint between the center shaft and the body of the caliper. unfortunately, unless you tear apart the caliper, any lube you apply will be a short term fix.
