That makes me feel a lot better.

If they don't hear it kick on for a few seconds, have them hit the underside of the fuel tank in the center of the recessed semi circle that is there. Do they hear the fuel pump kick on now? If yes, then this pretty much confirms a fuel pump.

The other check you can do is to connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail. That will also tell you if the fuel pump is turning on or not. can't say that I have seen many wiring issues with the fuel pumps. All that I can think of have been the pump itself.
Yea then it would be the fuel pump. And I have to drop the tank to replace it right?
I'll try that one last thing though, just to be sure.

You are right, to change it you have to drop the fuel tank. If it turns out the be the fuel pump then you don't have to change the whole $500 dollar unit with level sender and all that. It's hold together with screws and if you open it up you can change only the fuel pump. You can get brand new ones for 50-150$ and even more, depending on what quality and brand you want.

Do you mind directing me to where exactly I could get that. I'm not very savvy with car parts.

Don't know what part stores you have over there but over here I would go to the nearest one or just order one from ebay. Fuel pumps tend to be quite universal just different flow rates.
