Default How do i remove lock barrel from door handle

Morning all.
Driver side door handle broke so a replacement has been ordered.
I went to remove the handle but the lock barrel is preventing the door handle from coming out.
What is holding that barrel in there?
I've tried looking at pics of the setup but see nothing locking that barrel in there... Any idea how to proceed???

The black plastic funnel cap. Pry it off and the handle should come out of the door. Once out I belive the lock has a spring clip on it.

The funnel cap has 2 small pieces of plastic in the center. Are these to release it?, do i need to push them together or pull them apart as i pry the cap?
Thanks

I finally did it. For anyone else searching for this answer, i put a flat blade screwdriver between the 2 tabs and twisted, forcing the tabs apart. While holding in this position a inserted a 1/2" chisel behind the cap and gently levered the cap off.
Doorhandle and lock barrel now removed.
To remove the barrel from the handle, grip the back of the barrel with vice grips and gently twist about 1/5 turn and the barrel comes out
