Jaguar Parts & Service Manuals 1990-1994 CD
I bought the repair cd....the problem i'm having is i can't copy from the cd. Only parts of it will allow me to copy from it. So if any one can help me please do so.

Researching all season tires prices
Hi
I need to buy All season tires. The Michelin Ice tires we bought last fall from the Tire Rack (one of the Forums vendor) were great and performed with no problems all winter.
Based on my research it looks like I will be buying Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum (Grand Touring All-Season) from the Tire Rack. They have a $50 American Express reward card promo deal when you buy 4 of theses Kumho tires.
The 225-60R-16 tire package for 4 tires is $332 plus $46 shipping to CT plus Ct 6% sales tax. Our net cost is $328 (332+46-50) plus the sales tax. That is $82 per tire before sales tax.
This tire has an H speed rating (132 mph). Tire Rack Road & Track test rated shows it was rated it about 2% lower than the Michelin Primacy MXV4 (which was the highest rated tire in the test & cost $552 for 4 tires before shipping and sales tax). Michelin tires have a $70 reward card promo. Our net cost would be $528 versus $328. Customer reviews also have been very good on these Michelins "they are quiet, but expensive to buy".
The customer reviews give this Kumho tire a 5 star rating. Comments like "This tire is much better in every way" "Quiet and Smooth" "60,000 mile warrantee".

Hey JimLombardi, I bought 4 Kumho Ecsta AST for my X-Type from TireRack.com in Feb of this year and they are great. With shipping I laid out $404.00. I had them installed and balanced here in Tucson for another $75.00.
As far as reviews go, I couldn't make heads or tails of them. Half were good, and half were complaints. I think the best advice is to comply strictly with the break-in instructions. During the first 500 miles you take it easy. Don't go over 80mph, easy on the turns etc... Other than that they say that your spent tires are kind of like slicks if most of the tread is worn down. Hence your old tires grab the road a little better on a turn than new ones!
The Michelins are a step up in quality and expense, which I found to be much more expensive than Kumhos. I have stock 17" rims and I recall the price difference between Kumhos and Michelin was significant. I believe I was looking at Michelin Pilot Sports.

We are happy with the Kumko all season tires we purchase in late March this year. We put on 7000 miles in the last 9 months and the tires have provided a nice quiet ride, great traction on wet roads, and they still look like new.
We have our Michelin Ice tires mounted on another set of Jaguar OE rims and I will be put them on our 2001 XJ8 sometime this week. The Michelin Ice tires really make a difference in the snow and ice that we get here in new england.

Undelivered Order by Arden
Has anyone tried ordering from arden.de? I have ordered a Sports Silencer for my XFR last January 31 and until today, nobody from Arden can provide me the real status of my order. They have provided me a tracking number for the courier service they have used (Dachsen) but the number is not recognizable by the courier's online tracking facility. I reside in the Philippines but I have not experienced this kind of delay when I ordered from Adamesh and Rimmer Bros. To think that Arden is a well recognized Jaguar mod designer and parts provider, how come they have difficulty in providing satisfactory customer service? It is really frustrating. I am sharing this for everyone to know either to get helped or to warn prospective buyers.
