Default Jaguar x-type 2.0D no turbo boost

2005 Jaguar x type 2.0D when i got it, i releaised there was a problem the glow plug light would come on with loss of power. after looking at forums i relised it was probably the turbo actuator and a garage checked it and confirmed it. before i had chace to sort it out if failed to start one morning RAC said pump or injectors, a local garage bled it and it ran for 30 miles then six hours later drove for one mile and ran out of fuel (even though tank was full). RAC again came towed me home and another mechanic found the fault to be the injectors, replaced the injectors with 4 reconditioned ones. also replaced the blown starter motor which had developed.
injectors have been checked for a second time from a different mechanic because there is now no turbo boost though the tubo spins sweet as a nut. so now its permanently in limp mode but no glow plug warning light. turbo actuator has been changed but still the same. anyone who has had this experience and can shed a little light on it, i would be most grateful.

Because this is a US based forum and diesels were never marketed in the USA, you might find a wider diesel knowledge base at this alternative UK forum

JaguarForum.com - The World's # 1 Jaguar Car Forum

I have no direct experience of any diesel X Type, but your problem could be a split intercooler hose. Try this

Help, 2.0l diesel no power, black smoke

And after you do indeed find one of the two hoses has failed (hopefully not the metal section which is rare) you may consider replacement with a lifetime guarantee silicone one as these hoses are quite notorious for failure.
