Default Jaguar X type estate

Could anyone please help. My jaguar has been running great but now it won't start or even turn over. Got DSC fault showing and also handbrake light on all the time and temperature guage on red light also red and amber warning light on dash. When I turn the key nothing happens except the centre console which holds the sat Nov and radio goes Off and I have to reset it. Battery is ok and all wiring is ok. Any ideas.

Anr, sounds like your instrument cluster has failed. When you attempt to start the car, a signal is sent from the key to a receiver that surrounds the ignition switch. This information is then sent up to the instrument cluster to then be checked vs a list of good keys, to then relay an a signal on to the ECM to actually start the car. I bet if you look as you attempt to start the car, on the center console, you will see a red light light and remain on as you have the key in the START position. This would confirm what I am saying. Keep in mind that the instrument cluster is going to need to be programmed to the car since it has security features in it that prevents simply pulling out the failed unit and putting in another one.
