Default Manual fan switch trouble

I'm attaching a manaul fan switch on my 04 jaguar x-type and need a little help. I have the switch put together and since there is no fan relay, I'm not sure where to put the positive wire. Can I attach it to the module, if so, does it matter which prong?

Curious as to why you need a manual fan switch; is the car overheating?

Mmm. Sounds like you might be trying to cure a symptom rather than the cause?

The cooling fan module is controlled by a PWM signal from the ECM, not a simple 12v On/Off. (Fans are variable speed)

The alternative of splicing in directly into the main fan wiring would require a relay to handle the currents involved, plus some substantial diodes probably to prevent putting unwanted voltage back to the fan module.
