I decided to give this a try today because I was experiencing the same issues stated above. Shifting from gear to gear was getting tough. I went with redline MTL. It was so easy I think I am going to do this as a regular maintenance at least 2 or 3 times/year.

Would you be able to tell me where you got the fluid transfer pump from? Iv'e found one on amazon but dont want to have to wait to receive it in the mail. I found a couple other options but not sure if they will work for the MT fluid change. Here are the links to the pumps:
