Is the sound like a ragged piece of tin can blowing across asphalt?

Are you sure you don't have a broken coil spring?

As Jim says above you could have a small piece of broken spring lying in the spring cup
especially if it sounds like spanners rattling together when you go over a bump or into a pothole.

I get a pretty steady jingle from the rear US drivers side.
I can can hear it a 2mph and faster.
I know I need wheel bearings, but it does not sound like bearings.
