Default Need help finding part

I have a 2005 x-type. 3.0 liter. I was wondering if anybody could give me a name to some sort of vacuum line. It is red and plugs into the back of the intake. It is covered though, but it is red. Mine is all crumbled and was wondering what it would cost. Thanks.

and it hooks to some sensor on the other side. (or valve of some sort) I am failing emissions and I just recently replaced the IMT o-rings, the brake booster hose, and inspected the hose from the valve cover to the box. I am getting code P0174 and P0171. I did already search, but this is the last vacuum? line I have left. lol

FYI-- Look at he picture in the previous post-- see the two black connectors (motors) on the right side. thoughs are motors that run the TUNING TUBES that add 10 hp to the engine. There are "O" rings that dry out and leak tripping P0171/174 codes. Back out the bolts and TRY to pull them out, IF they come out easy they leak, I tweeked mine a bit and there ok, you can spray around them when running to see if they leak as pulling them out all the way might destroy the
"O" rings. There probably BAKELITE so don't pry to hard.

Hi
The image of a 2004.25 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 & 3.0 is the only thing I could find that might help you find more information about the part you need:

Name: 200425JaguarX-Type2530EngineImage.jpg

Size: 115.1 KB

It looks like there might be a cover over it in this image above.

Default part find

I talked to Jag and the hose you have circled is a PVC hoss ( not the big one in the front) $7.00. The FUEL PRESSURE REG HOSE they said is part of the plentum $755.00. That is why no picture shows it, if you flip the picture over(or who ever has it) it will show. For $755.00 I would some how find a way to replace a hose. or line or what ever it is. It's called reengineering for the benifit of you wallet. Someone on the forum might have a fix?

I think you are safe. What you describe is the vacuum hose from the induction manifold to the fuel injection pressure sensor. Attached is the parts catalogue view.

Good luck!

THANKS XJRGUY The parts dept. told me X-TYPE is the only model that Jag did this to (sold it as a assembly) so unless us mortals have outside info were screwed.
