Same thing happened to mine when I first got it. Loosen the lug nuts just a small amount with the car not on the jack. Try 1 turn first. Do not take them off so the wheel will fall off, just loosen a little bit. Roll the car a few feet. This should break the rim off the hub.Jack up and remove the tire. As Buck said, use grease when you put the tire back on.

My front two wheels were seized like no other the first time I tried to take them off. I've never had a car that was as bad about getting the wheels off as this one is. I thought it was because the car came from up north, but even after cleaning the hubs and greasing them they still give me grief. They're a lot better, but are still more difficult then they should be.
When I put the arubas on I put a lot of work into them. I took them down to bare metal, and lathered them up with white lithium grease.
But as for getting them off, I've had luck with a couple methods;
-Jack the car up, *put it on stands*, and lay on the ground, and bash the wheel with a rubber mallet from behind. If you think of the wheel as a clock, a few goods whacks to the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions should eventually knock it loose.
-As someone else said, loosen the lug nuts, and with the car on the ground, turn the steering wheel back and forth a few times.
Good luck!

It stems from a very tight tolerance where the aluminum wheel pilots on the cast iron hub. Mine come off every spring for swap to custom rims. Even with meticulous cleaning of the rim and hub, and a liberal application of anti-seize when they go back on in the fall, it still isn't easy sometimes. Best I can say isI don't have to use a sledgehammer any more!
BTW, Aquill - the custom rims don't fit tight on the hub, so they won't do that.
