I just purchased a black 05 X-Type Sport . I've got to say first that I love the car. Traded in my 06 Mustang GT. I've had mustangs over the past 9 years. I love them but I think I've out grown enjoying them. Needless to say the Jag is a head turner especially with everything blacked out.

I'm curious as to if it's normal for the driverside floor mat to lay partially over the gas pedal. The mats look factory but I thought that's a bit odd. Normal or not?

My gas pedal doesn't hang, it's attached at the bottom and pushes forward. Normal on an 05 sport???

in 04 they changed the gas pedal set up. The mat you have in yours is from 02-03. you need the new style mats.

 

i have both left and right side front OEM mats with the Jaguar name on them... the mats are black.

 

That's good to know. Actually I'll go back to the dealer and make them order me new ones ... play it as a "safety" issue with the mat laying over the pedal. There's also a plastic piece on the back side of the center console that is missing. Hopefully they can hook me up on those two pieces.
