Default Quick Question About Trans Fluid Level Check.

So from what I understand you need to get the tranny fluid up to about 95 degrees f. Then get the level check plug off and let it drain till it doesn't anymore, or add fluid till it drains out of the level check plug.

My question is will having the car only raised in the front affect the level plug reading? I have these ramps I drive the car onto and was planning on using those for this of course. However since the car would then be on a grade I'm concerned I'll get an inaccurate reading.

Thanks,

Andrew

Has to be level. I'm sure you've read which is level plug and which plug disengages the reverse band.

I've seen pictures on these forums showing where it is, it's on a wall just below a blue and red thing with a cord coming out of it.
