Just had the j004 done this morning with oil change on my 04 xdrove around here and there then the amberengine light came on. Is this just a coincidence? anyone know if this would set light off? invoice said they revised obd.

I believe Real_Tech posted a warning about this last night, indicating that the recall was suspended until a software glitch with the IDS was resolved. Hope my post is relevant, I did not compare recallnumbers.

 

Car just left on ramp truck for dealership.. not driveable, just read real_tech`s updated post i suspect this is the problem, of course service dept closed on sat and sun.

 

looks like the recall killed the tcm

 

Nice, i suggest that you all wait till you take your car in for the recall. Wait till they get the bugs out.
