Anybody know where the best place other than ebay is the best place to get cross-drilled and slotted rotors for the money? I'm kinda scared to get them from ebay but man some of them are an awesome deal.

Hey there buck I typed it in and it would cost $162.?? for two of them. I'd spend that on that set of rotors. What pads did you use? Also are the rotors corrosion resistant by any chance? What makes them the daddy of cross-drilled and slotted rotors?

If you look under my signature pic you will see I have used Ceramic Redstuff pads.

They are machined using a high quality alloy designed to run up to 800/900* C (glowing red hot) and still run true and stay straight. They also have a unique wide “high volume†slot design that runs to the outside edge of the disc allowing the dust, debris, gasses and carbon deposits to be “spun off†from the braking disc surface, further improving braking. The blind holes prevent cracking and help to break down surface gasses of the brake disc/rotor to further improve braking under heavy load.
And best of all they aremade inBritain.

Hey Aquill,
man if I were you I'd definately go for the EBC grooved and dimpled discs and marry them with redstuff pads. As I am sure you know Jaguar is now repacing worn pads with greenstuff pads as std, redstuff being the next step up. Put these two together and awesome stopping power instantly available.
Personally, I think that from std the car does not brake as quickly as I would like, and as soon as mine are due for renewal I know what I will be fitting! Redstuf pads with grooved / dimpled discs.
I know that they are more expensive, quite a bit more! quality costs - its that simple!
If cost is an issue and your happy with stock, go with that, and maybe add greenstuff pads.

Thanks for the info. bojangles but I was hoping to get the slotted and cross-drilled ones. I project that I'll be getting some rims for the ride come spring and I wanted the slotted and drilled for the look as well as performance is I'm sure a little better but mainly they look cooler, especially with some 5-spoke wheels that allow you to see alot of the inside of the rim and your wheel well. I'd love to chat but I'm leaving in next couple of minutes to go to a motorcycle show here in novi, michigan. Thanks again though!
