I get this sometimes too! Mine isnt too loud, but its noticeable. My dealer told me that I shouldnt be concern, but to call them when or if it became louder and I noticed a change in shifting.

 

It's the brake switch and interlock mechanism in the J-gate. Just about every X-type does it.

 

Thats right its the brake switch and interlock solenoid.Common problem.
