My 2005 X-Type will come with the original navigation discs. I've tried hunting down a good source (not a $200 one) for up-to-date USA discs to no avail. I've seen the European discs hosted here for free download, or available dirt-cheap from satnav-update.com. Does anyone know where I can either download or cheaply purchase the newest USA nav DVD for my X-Type?

No such luck finding an up-to-date one on eBay. I'm also not about to shell out $200 for a new one. Oh well.

The Europe nav files are uploaded to this site, it's too bad the North American files aren't.

I have seen them on the UK Ebay site.
My understanding ( in the UK ) is as follows.
These copies can be of poor quality and some of the companies are not very helpful in sorting out problems.

The disks are supplied as back up copies and assume you have already purchased an original Jaguar disk, (thus avoiding copright laws).

I have no idea what the legal situation is in the USA.

My understanding ( from a trusted source) is that 2012 is the very last version to be released in the UK.

No further updates will be available
