Default Wind noise issue

I have an issue I am trying to track down and am interested to see if anyone else has the same issue. While driving at highway speeds 60+ if it is really windy out I get a howling/whistling sound coming from the passenger side of my car. This only happens when it is very windy out and usually its a cross wind. All the seals along the passenger side doors and windows seem to look fine. I had a passenger in the car this past weekend when it happend and they couldn't tell where it was coming from. It's hard to replicate and hard to troubleshoot since it almost always happens when i am the only person in the car. Any suggestions on what this could be or where to look greatly appreciated.

Actually that's a great suggestion. I swapped out my pollen filter right after I got the car a year ago. The plastic molding that meets up with the front windshield glass never did seat 100% flush. I am in the US and i could have swore the pollen filter was on the passenger side. I'll take a look tonight and see what i find.

i had a similar problem - turned out the recirc flap was broken - caused a windy whistle. the actuator had broken, so it is has been jammed fully open now which resolved the whistle in my case.

the dealer reckoned it would be a dash out job to fix properly so i will wait until something major fails before i go to that expense.

I pulled up the black plastic along the window to try and reseat it and I can't get it completely flush. The area closest to the passenger side fender is a couple centimeters up from the glass. Anyone else have this issue? The plastic is supposed to direct any water out of the car and away from the engine bay. I'm hoping with this not being flush it isnt going to cause issues.

Well so far yes, but I won't know until I am driving in some really windy conditions. Thats the only time I would hear the sound.
