Its not that I don't believe your readings, I just wonder about the accuracy of the trip computer calculations. I've done manual calculations to compare the trip computer to actual economy and found it is a little optomistic at times.

Yes its imperial gallons i think..its 4.54 litres to a gallon.

I set my cruise to 70 mph and did a 110 mile journey on the motorway and averaged 36 mpg happy days
