Default 2017 XE

Hi,

I have been driving an Infiniti for the past 9 years and I am now considering getting into a Jaguar XE. My lease on my 2014 Infiniti Q50 S is set to expire a week from today.

This is the car that I am considering:

2017 Jaguar XE 35t Premium Sedan

The exterior color is Ammonite Grey and the interior color is Jet

I can't seem to find this Ammonite Grey color as an option on the Jaguar website. Does it look the same as the Corris Grey color that is on the website ? Does anyone have any pictures to post of any cars with this Ammonite Grey color ?

I am looking to get into a 2017 in order to keep the lease price down as I know that the 2018 models are now out.

I am being told that the lease sale price is $42,400 and the actual price on the website for this particular car is $47,068

I am being quote with the following lease terms:

33 months with 15,000 miles per year

With $1,5000 due @ signing --> $559/month (this includes taxes and tags rolled into the lease, rather than upfront)

With $3,000 due @ signing --> $511.62/month (this includes taxes and tags rolled into the lease, rather than upfront)

Any input on how this lease offer looks for this 2017 XE ?

Any thoughts on this color and lease offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

GP

Hi, The Lease seems high for the price. The dealers are discounting the models by at least $7000 to $9000

I would really advise you to look at prestige models. you will be much happier - considering you would be driving it for at least 3 years.

See my post on another thread - https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-186477/page2/

You should be able to get the premium for no more then $350 with 0 down.

This is the AWD 3.0 Liter Supercharged V6 Gas and has the following included options:

InControl Touch Navigation System

SIRIUSXM Satellite Radio

Wheels: 18" Templar 5 Twin-Spoke Alloy

Is the Prestige model really that much better compared to the Premium ?

The incontrol touch navigation is standard, there is also a tech package which gives you all touch screen system - which is much better - updated and easy to use.

i am basing your lease payments based on MSRP and that they are discounting the 2017 by at least 7,000$-9,000$

the prestige gives you better headlights and leather seats in addition with heated seats.
prestige also adds keyless entry.

see this from their website-

XE PRESTIGE

Includes XE Premium key features, plus:

Grained Leather Seats with Contrast Stitch
Heated Front Seats
Heated Steering Wheel
4-Way Front Seat Power Lumbar Support
Power Adjustable Steering Column with Memory
InControl Apps™
Interior Mood Lighting
Keyless Entry
Navigation (SD Card)

This is not true at all, I have the premium and it comes with leather heated seats and keyless entry, also most of things on this list. I suppose it could be some kind of fake leather but it still looks like real leather to me The only two items I am not sure if I have is the mood lighting and power steering column. Oh and yes I do have the cheap headlights but I am fairly certain you can get the premium model with the fancy lights.

The dealer is robbing you. I had a 2017 XE R-sport sale price 52,000 0 down lease for 36 months, 550$ per month (taxes in the lease price). The only thing I paid up front was 1st month payment and dealer fees, which added up to 920.

One thing to keep in mind is that a 33 month lease with 15K miles vs 36 with 10K (not sure what your mileage is) will be roughly $40-$60 more per month. Even with that though the OP's offered lease seems high.

Now the dealer came back to me with the following quote:

I can do $476/monthwith $1500...and as previously mentioned, this includes NY taxes and tags.

I hate playing this game !

Be upfront about what you want to pay and make them play. These cars are heavily discounted so it is in your favor...
