Question Help installing OEM sport pedal covers

Got the sport pedal covers as a Christmas present. The online instructions make it look real easy http://accessories-instructions.jagu...?2019126182047 but after 2 hours of fighting and cursing I'm at a loss for how to get these things on.
Has anyone successfully put these things on?

I failed to open your link so this operation must be jinxed.

Is it the OE Jaguar Pedal Kit or an aftermarket version? The fitting instructions on Jaguar TOPIx make it appear straightforward:

Those are the instruction I was following. As you said, it appears straight forward but it's anything but.

Have you got as far as taking the original covers off?

Yes I pried the original brake pedal off. Can't get that back on either. Step 3 is where I'm stuck, since there doesn't appear to be a way to pull the bottom lip around the pedal with the other 3 lips in place.

Jaguar installation instructions often leave out crucial details. Diagrams alone aren't always sufficient. I think the warning on page 1/2 gives a clue:

DO NOT fit the Sports Pedals using sharp or metal tools

This is as good as saying you won't be able to push them on or engage the bottom lip by hand. It's going to need a plastic or wood tool to pull the lip down so it goes over the pedal.

Know this is a very old thread but I finally bout and installed the accessory pedal covers. While it was a real challenge I found that a "Vinyl Siding Removal Tool" helped a GREAT deal. Thought I would pass that on.

I have gotten them on but once in a while they have fallen off. I probably had 3 of the 4 sides on right. My suggestion is to warm them up a little and use a shortie screwdriver from behind to get the lip over the edge of the pedal.
