Does an XF have a mute button for the audio?

I normally only follow the F-Type forum, but recently there was a post about the absence of a mute button on the F. The F is devoid of almost all creature comforts and the school answer is a) the 911 doesn't have one or b) it's a performance car.

I am in the market for a new wagon, and I was wondering if the absence of convenience features is strictly a F thing, or are all Jags bare bones when it comes to features.

So does the XF have a mute and any other comments regarding the XF wagon would be appreciated. Gratias.

 

Yes, you can mute audio. I have the Incontrol Touch Pro and on the home screen you can press the speaker button to mute the audio for radio stations or the pause button for media sources connected from your smartphone. I always just turn down the volume on the steering wheel to mute audio. I think you can also do this on the standard Incontrol.

I believe you were also looking at the Mercedes E400 wagon. To mute audio, you press down on the round audio control knob next to the Comand controller.
