On board computer?
Hi,
BMW has an onboard computer that tells you when services (oil change, brakes, etc) are due.
I have looked, but don't see anything on the touch screen or in the owner's manual about a computer that tells you service intervals.
Do Jaguars have this?
Still learning about the car. Thanks for insight.

Once you get within 2,000 miles (I think!) of the next due service a little message pops up on the display screen (the one between the speedo and tach) which says something like "service due in xxxx miles". It then adjusts this range each time you start the car, based on your recent driving style, so it sometimes counts up rather than down. It goes away after a few seconds.
For the brake pads there are wear sensors fitted (one on the LHF, one on the RHR) which trigger when that brake pad gets down to about 4 mm thick. The message which pops up doesn't tell you which one has triggered though!

Damn..... OK. Thanks.
