Default Clubs for current model owners

I just purchased my first Jaguar and am excited about getting involved in the community. However, when I researched my Jag club here in Utah the membership seems to be mostly owners of classic cars. Are there other car clubs that would be better to get involved with than the Jag specific one? I guess I'm just worried that mine isn't quite cool enough for the other.

And as a follow up to that question, what car clubs do all of you belong to?

Jaguar Clubs of North America

Look for a club in your area:

Jaguar Clubs of North America

My local branch:

Jaguar Association of New England (JANE) Home Page

Our club members have classic, modern, and current cars.

I belong to my college's car club still and try to hit Cars and Coffee every now and then. There is a local Jag owner's chapter but I haven't been to any of their meets yet

Exactly correct, as PAB posted. There is chapter in Utah, I believe in Salt Lake City. They welcome all.

If you own a jag you are cool by definition.

I know what you mean by feeling out of place as a newer car owner among classic car owners. My wife and I have an 08 XJ8 and an 09 XF and about a year and a half ago we got involved with our local Jaguar club. At first there was a slight feeling of being the tallest midget in the room, but that quickly went away. All Jag owners obviously have something in common and you will enjoy learning about the classics and they will appreciate hearing of all the features on your car. Do not hesitate to participate in the concours events, they are open to all Jags and it gives all that washing, waxing and polishing a purpose!

That's what I was hoping would be the case. Here in Utah, I never see Jags so I know the community here is small. Just hoping to get involved with those that are around. Good to hear that you and your wife have had a good experience. Thanks for the reply!
