Default Drivers door won't unlock

The drivers door on my XF won't unlock. I have used the key fob and keyless entry modes and it will not open. All other doors are ok.

Any thoughts?

Looks like it's off to the dealer. Had it on its first big run over the weekend. Did 1000 miles and it went like a dream. Teething problems I guess.

Angry Doors won't Unlock

Seems to be contagious then!

I clicked onto the keyless entry pad and heard as if they activated/unlocked, when i pulled onto the drivers door it wouldnt open/unlock!

I clicked again, tried the rear drivers side door, and it wouldnt open! Standing there with my evening meal in hand, I tried the barrel in the door and turned could hear as if it was trying to unlock but didnt, so I went around to the passenger side and luckily the passenger door would open!!

Reached across, pull the drivers door handle and it opened for me!

Today I tried to open the drivers door and ended up crawling across to the passengers side to get out!

Is there a ways I can pull a fuse to eliminate them from locking automatically till I can find someone to repair this?

Angry

Hi Nasa25
Apparently it was just an adjustment on the door mechanism. BUT although it worked well yesterday, today we are once again locked out. So back to the dealership again

Is it under warranty? If so they should just replace the lock actuator and see if that sorts it.

Yep under warranty. Just 1 month old.
Had door lock problems with the last couple of cars. My Audi A4, LR3 and my daughters Cruze. All brand new cars.
The previous car I had was a Ford Explorer (new) and doors were fine. Mind you the power steering did fail.

Its in with the dealer today and they assure me that it will be fixed. Lets hope.
