Default Engine Management Light intermittently comes on and off

I have a problem no one can solve even the Jaguar dealer .
My 2008 XF 4.2 V8 has had the engine management light coming on then after a few days goes off .
When checking the fault codes they show PO172 Mixture rich Bank 1 and PO175 Mixture rich Bank 2.
Everythink has been checked including air flow meter , fuel rail pressure test ,fuel rail pressure sensor , oxygen sensors removed and checked , catalytic converter checked for blockage even the scan tool manufacturer looked at the data live with the car driving and couldn't isolate the cause .The dealer said next thing would be faulty/dirty injectors but said we only replace injectors and don't clean or check on flow bench suggest you go to an aftermarket fuel injector specialist .
the car has only done 59,000 km in 10 years and has been driven quietly and the engine shows no sign of a problem plenty of power fuel consumption is normal and I was amazed that the engine management light actually turned itself off after a few days the last time before I took it to the dealer . I think they thought I was making up the problem they said they found the fault codes but should drive it to see whether it comes back on ! It did one week later and now it is go somewhere else and get your injectors checked .
Before I do anything I would appreciate if anyone out there has struck the same problem and or advise on should I go and do the injectors which is going to cost quite a bit because It may not be the problem.
I would really appreciate some thoughts on what might be the problem rather do a process of elimination parts swap out !

Dealers can be hit and miss, sadly. Try hard to find a good jag indy (one who really understands OBD II) or I suppose learn OBD II and plan to DIY but may be painful.

You have essentially an S-Type with some changes, including new body, but same engine etc. Rich codes (P0 not PO) are not common on either car.

With the codes will be freeze frame data and may provide clues.

Also check live data for plausibility etc.

I went to the biggest Jaguar dealer in Melbourne after having 2 aftermarket Jaguar specialists look at it first .
I would like to hear from anyone out here that might have struck these fault codes OP172 and OP 175 and have found the cause of the problem !
If anyone things injectors are most probably the problem I will get them taken out cleaned and tested on a flow bench .I have thrown a lot of money at this and am reluctant to just keep the trial and error thing going without some technical know how to help my decision . David T
