Default Horn sounding twice when unlocking doors

HI Guys,
I wonder if you can help me.
As of yesterday my 2012 XF has started to sound the horn twice when using the fob to unlock or the door handle. This happens both on single and dual entry.
Can this be set up so as not to sound the horn on the control screen?
Thanking you in advance
Steve

Default I had the same problem

Ill just tell you what I experienced even though its on the other page. So I couldn't lock my door and it would beep everytime I tried. The only way was through the actual key insert. Car starts and everything was good but the dashboard indicated my trunk was open. I checked it out but apparently something on the inside broke and my car thought the trunk was open. So if there is a door open or not closed all the way, it will beep and it will not lock... hope that helps. And yeah look for others posts first! It Def helps get answers faster

Mine did that all the time - very annoying late at night. I mentioned it to the Technician while it was in having the tensioners done so he stooped down, reached into the R/H wheelarch, and pulled the cable off the sounder, Pure bliss!

It's definitely something to do with a door or trunk being open. Had it happen to me this weekend.

Also happens if you leave a fob in the car.
