You can fit up to 265/35 on the fronts, XFR-S comes with that size from factory and suspension geometry is slightly different but the wheel well is the same size as a standard XF. You can get away with up to 295/30 easily on the rears. I have seen some forum members even run 305s with no issues, but I think it depends on the tire brand.

i currently am doing XJ fitment due to the insane amount of potholes here in the northeast and I daily drive my XF 5.0 Supercharged so it helps with comfort. I currently have 275/40/19 in the rear which is exactly the same as 275/35/20. XJ offsets are also okay for our cars too, it will look nice in terms of fitment. The widest I could fit was 305/30/20 in the rear with no rubbing issues on stock wheels, on an aggressive aftermarket wheel, they started to rub cause they stuck out too far and it was the widest tire I’ve ever seen.
as for the front, 255/35/20 was uncomfortable and not enough sidewall, I went to a 245/45/19 and it rubs a little bit. 265/35/20 also rubs with an aggressive tire. It’s very difficult to fit anything larger than stock up front if you want the full turning radius. At full lock and slight amounts of turning, it rubs, but it’s better than bending a wheel or blowing a tire on this stiff suspension.
cheers
245/45/19 front (rubbing at full lock) 275/40/19 rear no rubbing at all) Stock suspension
