Default Looking for new engine V6 3.0

Hello to all Jag lovers

This post going to be pretty long so if you don't want to spend time there is a short version at very end of this post.

For those one who loves dramas - here is a my love story.
Long time ago I've fell in love with my single and only Jaguar XF. We had a years of happy live, but recently something terrible happened.
After another night of lovely riding, I've noticed that the car doesn't accelerate as usual and behavior is bit strange.

Some time later I've got hated message "Restricted performance" on a panel. I've booked a time on a local service and got brief diagnose that there is something wrong with an engine. Three days later there was more clear diagnose - compression in 1st and 3rd cylinders is lower than in others. It's 8 instead of normal 12. And the oil level is lower than min (it's been fully loaded 3 moths before).
At the very end, as it was explained to me, valve stem seals were worn out and passed engine oil into cylinder, that cause oil leaks and damaged intake valves.

So at current moment Im looking for solution.
The possible options as I see could be:
- totally new engine (that's the most expensive but fastest solution)
- used engine (the one I've been able to find has ~120k car mileage)
- donor car (looking for this option)

So here Im looking for advise from experienced users what you did in such cases, also please advise places where I can search for some donor engine in EU or GB.

SHORT VERSION:
Car's engine is broken, and now I'm looking for advise/solution where I can find replacement.

Sorry to hear of your issues

Can you clarify - what model year and which engine? That will massively influence the choices open to you

Also - is the rest of the car immaculate? It's pretty expensive to find a donor and do an engine swap - you'd want to ensure you are doing so into a great car. Else may be lower cost to just buy a different car

Its XF x250 with 3.0L V6 (238 PS) petrol engine.

The rest of the car is perfect. That was something totally unexpected to have issues with engine. And yes, I definitely want to restore this car.

Ah - that's the non supercharged V6 that was used in Europe but not here in US. Think it was only used for 2-3 years around launch of XF so may be a bit harder to find. Similar engine was in X type and S Type but I don't think that's a straight swap

Best bet will be a totaled XF where engine wasn't damaged. May take time to shop around..
