My Coolant service is due, Jaguar dealership in my area is out of the coolant and on back order 130$ per gallon. Ridiculous!!!
I'm going to drain and refill the system with a friend .. will these coolants Work ? please look at link and let me know if these will work !

Well...the FSM for the V8 XF calls out WSS-M97B44-D spec coolant. This is a Ford specification for coolant...and it's dexcool. I just used this: Prestone 1 Gallon Orange Concentrate Antifreeze/Coolant AF888 | O'Reil (oreillyauto.com)

 

Its ok IF I USE DEX-cool in a jaguar ?! my user Manuel says WSS M97B44 no D at the end but is it ok them .. I'D like to change my Fluid tomorrow you have had no issues ?

 

I'm pretty sure any OAT coolant will work. Autozone or Orielly should be able to look up the spec for your vehicle.

Orange but the Manuel says WSS m97b44 I just do not want to damage anything.
the dealership cant order Jagg spec coolant for a few months on back order

 

Orange is usually OAT coolant. If it were my car, I'd head to Autozone or Orielly and give them your car info and get the orange OAT coolant. But that's just me.

 

I would like to UPDATE everyone that reads this ... I went to another Jaguar Dealership and spoke to the master tech working in the bays . He told me... BUY the Range Rover Coolant as it is the same but 35% cheaper. so showed me both Jaguar and range rover coolant gallons. Jaguar coast 130$ a gallon where Range Over / land rover coolant has the same stickers and chemical make up but much cheaper.
anyway I found my coolant at the dealership range over side WSS m97b44- D * D variant because they do not support or make m97b44. anymore. Ford also sells the same coolant I checked the Label on the fords Coolant. Problem solved SO if your jaguar takes the Orange or Pinkish /Orange is what the tech said, Buy range rover. Same Parts, Engine cooling system. Do not fear identical.

Just buy the very common Dexcool. No need for anything special.
