new brake pads
Hey everyone, im sure this has been discussed but I cant seem to narrow it down in a search. Is it required to replace the brake sensor on the 380mm brakes when replacing the pads?
If the existing sensor hasn't triggered (ie worn down to the triggering point) then you can re-use it.
Problem is it's very hard to remove it from the old pad and/or clip it into the new pad without snapping part of the end/clip off, they go brittle with age and heat cycles.
Best to get a new one in case the old one snaps, they are only about $10 - $15, then if the old one goes back on OK you have a spare.

Yep - one on RF and one on LR wheels.
You can probably still use it even if its made contact with the rotor. Just have to be careful when removing it as they tend to break.

Just wondering, where did you buy the brake sensors from? Part number? Thanks a lot!
