No fault accident - Need rear bumper advice
Got some free bumper mods this afternoon (speed holes and weight reduction by paint removal). Nobody was hurt fortunately, it was a pretty low speed impact but the guy behind me never stopped when I was stopped at a stoplight.

The question I had for you guys: Does the 2012+ XF rear bumper with the diffuser panel fit on 2010-2011 XFs? Or can I get the OEM upper and lower ribbed valence to fit in the 2010 bumper?
Basically, can I get #10 and #12 to work with my car, and if so how so?

Thanks!

I actually found the old thread that described how to do it (basically get the Mina Gallery version or dremel new holes for the OEM version): https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...r-82135/page2/
I am still wondering though, would the entire 2012+ XFR bumper with the valence built in fit my car?

I've been staring at XFR rear ends for the last half hour (haha) and man, they look seriously similar. I spoke with a Jag parts department and although he couldn't confirm whether or not the '12+ would fit with no issues, he did say that the brackets and bolts that held it on for both years are identical.

Hopefully the body shop will have some idea

Wish I could help you answer them, I bought the Mina CF diffuser for $600 painted to match and shipped.
Now I want to update to 2012+ rear lights with the chrome center w boot lid lamps.
I thought its always the person behind yous' fault? Especially when you said he didn't stop quick enough when you were already at a full stop at a red light?

Yeah it was definitely deemed his fault so this one is on his insurance. The cost for '10 and '12 XFR rear bumpers with ribbed valence inserts are basically the same and I would be willing to pay the difference if there is one since it's all getting replaced anyway!
So I spoke with the body shop today and it looks like although the mounting brackets, quarter panels and lights are basically the same when it comes to fitment between a 2010-2011 and 2012+ XFR, a lot of other components (back up sensors, bumper beams, etc.) are completely different in the newer models. So unless you swapped out a lot of components behind the bumper cover they did not think it would be a "direct" fit if just swapping bumper covers.
Hoping to find some other reasonable way to add the diffuser without a ton of cost out of pocket.
