HI all, I have recently purchased a pre-facelift 2010 XF which is Awesome!!! however, when I view the quick start manual it shows a phone option but it doesn't appear on my screen list under Audio, so I can't work out how to connect my phone via BlueTooth. I have been through the screen options time after time but still can't find an option to turn it on, Any Ideas? I ony have the quick start manual in English and cant read the Japanese full manual. (the Car is ex-Japan but everything on the touch screen is in English). Cheers Alex

Agreed. Press the 'home' button underneath the screen to get back to the main menu. On the left are a set of options (one of which is Audio) - you should also see 'Comms' after that. That's where you connect and access the phone functionality. You need to pair the phone using bluetooth first, then it should autoconnect every time you start the engine (as long as you enable the autoconnect functionality in the phone itself).

Hi there Probe
I have found this old thread of yours and have exactly the same problem as you - I also bought a car into NZ from Japan and also have a gap on the touch screen menu where either a comms or phone option should sit. Given my car has nearly every additional factory extra I find it hard to imagine they would not have added the bluetooth for hands-free phone capability as well although I was under the impression this was a standard feature on the XF.
I didn't notice any answer posted on here that seemed to help with your issue - did you have any luck in the end resolving it?
Cheers
