Default Plastic Engine Coolant Outlet Tube Leak

I have a coolant leak from the plastic engine coolant outlet tube. Specifically from the welded seams on the plastic. The part numbers are water supply tube 9w83-8a504-db and water outlet tube 9W83-8A520-DA but it looks like there are updated parts that are now seamless which would have eliminated the issues I'm having. The water supply tube is easy to replace as it sits on top of the engine. Some people call this the coolant crossover tube. I'm more concerned with the water outlet tube 9W83-8A520-DA circled in red below. I'm not sure if this can be replaced without removing the supercharger to get to the bolts. Does anyone have experience with this? I have a 2013 XF 3.0 supercharged but it's the same setup for the 5.0 supercharged.

IIRC the supercharger needs to come out to access that circled pipe. And if the supercharger has to come out, you might as well do the full upgrade/replacement.

This package has everything you need to upgrade the cooling system, including new seamless pipes in aluminum. The same seller also offers a slightly less expensive package with those pipes in seamless plastic.

That is a good kit but it's missing a key component that has now been made in Aluminum?
There is a water transfer tube between the water pump and the oil cooler brick. It was plastic from Jaguar and of course prone to failure. This uprated transfer tube is cheap too at about $25. They have gone up a couple of bucks now too.

Aluminum Transfer Tube

I also like that small brass bleed screw to again replace the crappy factory plastic version!

Thanks for the info! The dealer wants $500 just to diagnose it and they do not apply the money to the repair should I decide to go ahead with it. I may try to do it myself. I already replaced the water pump a few years ago.

Definitely looks like the supercharger needs to come out. Found this great video that walks you through it. Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be. Going to order the parts and try it myself. Thanks for the feedback!

Yep, the SC has to come off.
Lots of talk and posts about these replacement coolant system parts over on the F-Type sub forum, and good feedback on the Euro Amp kit/parts.
As the SC needs to come off there is some more work you should do "while you are in there", namely replace the SC coupler/torsion isolator and SC fluid.
You should also consider replacing/renewing the SC bearings and maybe even the whole SC snout just in case the SC drive shaft has been grooved/damaged by the spring of a worn coupler, Powerhouse do a rebuild kit see here: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/18539924...Bk9SR7yz_ZHAYQ

Thanks for pointing that out, I actually bought that part but forgot it wasn't included in the package I linked. I have all the parts needed so that if the water pump goes I can have the upgrades/replacements all done at once.

If you are fitting a solid plastic coupler why do the grooves in the shaft matter? I never change the snout because of a little damage here as everything is rotating together.

Do you have to replace the SC gaskets as well or are they reusable?

I have always reused them. You might want to consider deleting the symposier also, I always do, simplifies the back of the SC imensley.
