Default Rattles and Squeaks

I have had my XF Premium 2010 MY for just over a year and have a number of rattles and squeaks from various places.

1. Overhead console. Resting my finger on it will stop it (anywhere in the console seems to stop it). Seems to depend in the weather. Hot it rattles, cold it seems to be OK.
2. Center console lid rattle. Only over rougher roads. Not the contents since I removed them all to find the issue.
3. Rear driver side. Door or sun screen unit. Cannot tell. Rear seat passengers seem not to be able to locate the noise.
4. A small "ting" noise when you change direction.

Dealership seems unable to solve any of the problems. Is anyone else hearing these sorts of problems in their XFs. BTW they have been around since delivery.

Sunroof - could only hear it when not blasting radio. Finally getting it fixed along with my other "jaguar" issues. Argh.

Now those would annoy me. I can't stick odd buzzes and rattles in a car.

Item three will be the sunroof seal. Open the roof to tilt and clean the rubber seal as far around as you can reach with a silicone type product. I use Aerospace 303 or something like that. If it still squeaks then open the roof by retracting it and clean the front edge also.

Thank you for the hint concerning the sun roof. I will look into that. Now about the other 3?

BTW, Translator, they are driving me nuts.

Tried Jagular's suggestion and applied silcone lubricant to the sunroof seal but it does not seem to have made any difference. The rattle that appears to come from the rear persists. Thanks for the suggestion.

Possibly the subframe bolts are not fully tight? That should be checked by the dealer right away.

The door seals might be squeaking and if so the clean with silicone might work for that.

Checked with dealer who looked into it when it first appeared. They confirm that there are no obvious mechanical issues, especially related to sub frame or other serious mechanical components. They thought it was in the headliner and said they found a loose clip. What ever they did had no effect. Back seat passengers, in a trip we took this weekend, say that the noise appears to be in the rear driver's side door. It is intermittent which makes it difficult to locate.

Weather has cooled a little so the squeak in the front head liner console has become much less frequent.

I have a Z4 Coupe which has less rattles and that rides on "bricks" (i.e. stiff suspension and low profile run flats). Still I love this Jag and I can put up with it while I find the causes.

Thanks, again, for the suggestion.
