Sidelights not turning off

Sidelights not turning off
My 2013 XF 3.0 ltr Diesel FNS sidelights remain on all the time.The dim after a while parked and sometimes only bottom lights remain on. Someone said that it indicates a low battery but that seems okay. Any ideas welcome.
